At Kaiasm, we want you to work your way. We offer autonomous, flexible working so you can choose when and where you work, according to your preferred work style. Want to work 3.5 days a week? Or condense five working days into four? No problem.
Hybrid office/home working is our new normal, although our office is so lovely you'll probably want to make it your base every day.
Our growing team of around 20 people have always enjoyed flexible working at Kaiasm. Our people have all found interesting work that suits their experience and enthusiasm while fitting around their other commitments and life choices.
Inside or out, at The Grange Offices you are in a fresh, healthy environment. Nestled in the charming Somerset countryside, the timber and glass open-plan offices have airy vaulted ceilings, with windows and French doors that open onto lush green gardens.
We love using nature as a source of inspiration.
Fresh and sunny impromptu meetings at the lawn-side work/eating area are the norm. For brainstorms and problem solving, a calming wander around the orchard, pond or stream can do the trick. If you’re feeling energetic, you can always smash a few balls across the tennis court. And for those who want to stride out further afield, plenty of walks kick off from The Grange - the source of many adventures hugely relished by our friendly office dogs.
Feel inspired to make decisions? Run a team? Be creative? You’ve come to the right place for autonomy-driven collective responsibility.
At Kaiasm, you won’t earn a London salary. You will, however, benefit from working in a smaller, agile business where you can work autonomously and gain a meaningful breadth and depth of experience that would be hard-won in a larger, less innovative business.
Our people are humane, conscientious and honest so we aren’t scared of mistakes and are pleased to know about them.
For us, it isn’t about cranking the profitability handle and becoming dull cogs of a machine. We want to keep on our toes and take considered risks so that we stay ahead of the curve with our innovative technology and services.
A hotbed of eco-businesses and one of the best places to live in the UK, Frome and its SouthWest environs are our preferred starting points for recruiting people and choosing suppliers.
Keen to create opportunities for young people and help the next generation into the tech industry, we take on apprenticeships where we can. For example, we are supporting integrated degree apprenticeships, having helped develop the data science curriculum with MK:U at Cranfield University.
Kim, Technical Analyst: Kaiasm is an innovative company, so our tasks change all the time. This keeps the job interesting and challenging. We are a friendly bunch of people and you really do feel you are all working together as a joint effort. And there is a strong emphasis on wellbeing.
Faye, Analyst: It’s by far been the happiest and most supportive working environment I have experienced.
Sam, Ontology Analyst: I consider myself lucky to be part of this team and to have found the company at a very exciting time in its life cycle - the potential for the future is almost boundless. What we do is unique and utter common sense, but done in such a clever manner.
Jo, Project Management Lead: This is a dynamic company to work for and flexibility of mind is needed -although that's what makes it fun.
Juliet, Office Manager: A great company to work for because of the people and the environment.
Faye, Financial Controller: The employee wellbeing and people-first ethos really set Kaiasm apart as an employer. The work is varied and engaging and you’re actively encouraged to bring your own ideas to the table and to get involved in different areas that interest you. One of the key foundations of the business is knowledge sharing, which means you can be constantly learning and developing which I absolutely love. I feel wholeheartedly supported by my colleagues and that I’m valued as an individual, both personally and professionally.
